| Production method | It is obtained by the reaction of decanediol and hydrogen bromide. Heat decanediol to 95-100°C, and pass in dry hydrogen bromide gas under stirring. When the hydrogen bromide in the mixture is saturated, the temperature is raised to 135 ℃, and hydrogen bromide is slowly introduced. Cooling, dividing the water layer to obtain the coarse product. Wash with water, then wash with 10% sodium carbonate solution, remove all the acid and then carry out reduced pressure distillation, collect 139-142 ℃(0.266kPa) fraction to obtain the finished product. |
